About Strong in menopause
Menopause is HARD. Are you struggling with insomnia, hot flushes (hot flashes), night sweats, brain fog, weight gain, mood swings, and anxiety? Are you noticing the tools you used to combat some of these things before just aren’t working for you now? Are you feeling tired, hopeless, and maybe even a little pissed off?
I can help. I created Strong In Menopause to help women in the menopause transition feel empowered to live their best lives.
Strong in Menopause is a holistic menopause coaching practice, with an emphasis on fitness and nutrition. Our initial session will focus on your concerns and your goals. We will talk through your lifestyle, what you struggle with and what you are excited about, and then come up with a plan together that will actually work for you. In weekly meetings, we will discuss your progress and any roadblocks that have popped up. We’ll make adjustments to your plan, and ensure that what we originally built continues to move you towards your goals. Each week you will receive a customized workout plan and nutrition plan that is tailored to your unique lifestyle and goals.
Our Approach
Coaching at Strong In Menopause is holistic. While one of the main outputs of our sessions together will be an exercise and nutrition plan, our focus will be on the whole you. Menopause symptoms don’t happen in a vacuum. Hot flushes and night sweats can impact sleep. Poor sleep can lead to brain fog, missing workouts, or poor food choices. Poor food choices or dehydration can make hot flushes, headaches, and mood swings worse. Because all of these symptoms are tied together, the Strong In Menopause approach involves addressing all of these symptoms through behavior change techniques. In weekly meetings, we will develop goals and monitor progress towards those goals. We’ll talk about factors that might impact your success, and come up with solutions to address or work around those factors. As a Strong In Menopause client, you will never be alone in your menopause journey. You will get more than just an exercise plan and a nutrition plan. You’ll get a success plan that leads to outcomes beyond your wildest dreams.

I’m the lead trainer and founder of Strong In Menopause.
I am passionate about helping women become stronger- physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT), Certified Nutrition Coach (NASM-CNC), and Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist (GGS-CMCS). I created Strong In Menopause to help women in the menopause transition feel empowered to live their best lives.
When I am not training others, you can find me lifting weights, preparing healthy meals, or outside adventuring with my husband Kevin and our sweet pup Fiji.
